Please note that the skirt is part of the examination uniform, and
that these styles are the ONLY accepted skirt style.
CLASS UNIFORM FOR BOYS
White
T Shirt Black or Regulation Cecchetti tights. White Socks White
or Black ballet shoes
JAZZ UNIFORM
Energetiks Dance pants - navy blue with a red strip down the
side. A choice of tight fitting red top to match the red on the
pant strip. i.e. leotard, camisole top, crop top, warm up red top.
Tan Jazz shoes are to be worn. (Not Jazz runners) At concert time
and performances , elastic is to be threaded through where the laces
go.
TAP UNIFORM
Energetiks Dance pants - navy blue with a red strip down the side.
A choice of tight fitting red top to match the red on the pant strip.
i.e. leotard, camisole top, crop top, warm up red top. Tap Shoes
are to be worn.
WINTER TIME
During cold weather, only cross-overs and woollen overtights (not
black) may be worn in addition to the basic uniform. SLOPPY JOES-
LONG T-SHIRTS AND TRACKSUITS ETC. ARE NOT PERMITTED - as it is necessary
to see the body lines clearly, in order to correct stance and posture.
GROOMING OF THE HAIR
In all classes the hair should be neatly dressed and NOT hanging
loosely....THIS APPLIES TO STUDENTS AT ALL LEVELS. Classical students
from Grade 1 and up are expected to wear their hair in a classical
bun. A students who takes pride in their personal appearance can
feel more confident in all their work.
